The Lenovo Yoga 720 Convertible Laptop is believed to be introduced at the Mobile World Congress MWC in February, but the laptop specs have been leaked online. The next-generation laptop is expected to be the successor of the last year Lenovo Yoga 710, which was released at the same event.
The new upcoming convertible laptop will come in two size variants: a 13.3 inch model and a larger 15.6 inch model. They offer significantly more screen real estate compared to the last year Lenovo Yoga 710, which offers 11 inch and 14 inch models. The display will feature a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The convertible laptop will come in three color options, namely Platinum Silver, Iron Gray and Rose Gold.
Lenovo new flagship of laptop will retain the overall design of its predecessor. However, they seem to have a thinner form factor and comes with ultra-thin bezels. The laptop is also equipped with a fingerprint reader on the palm rest. They also come with Lenovo’s proprietary Yoga hinge that allows them to transform into four modes, namely Notebook, Tablet, Stand and Tent.
As for its processor, the 13.3 inch model can support up to the seventh generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor while the larger 15.6 model can support the Kaby Lake based Intel Core i7-700Q processor. The larger model also equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics processor GPU with 2GB of dedicated video random access memory VRAM.
Both variants will come with either 8GB or 16GB of RAM along with 256GB or 512GB of built-in solid-state-drive SSD storage. The Lenovo Yoga 720 Convertible Laptop runs on Windows 10 Home operating system.
Other features included a backlit keyboard and the premium sound quality via JBL and Dolby Audio Premium. The connectivity options include a USB 3.0 port, USB 3.1 port and Type-C ports.
Lenovo has not confirmed the pricing and availability details about the new Lenovo Yoga 720 Convertible Laptop. For more details you have to wait more, the details will be announced during the official launch at Mobile World Congress MWC 2017, scheduled from February 27 to March 2.
