Chinese telecommunication giant ZTE has recently announced a monster. ZTE’s subsidiary brand Nubia, revealed its flagship smartphone, the Z17 during an event at Beijing National Aquatics Center. The ZTE Nubia Z17 may be the most powerful phone to come out of China yet, which is the first phone that supports Quick Charge 4+ and with 8 gigabyte of RAM.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with almost zero bezels on left and right sides of the smartphone. The top and bottom, however, have significant bezels like other standard phones.
The device is equipped with many extra-ordinary specifications. ZTE Nubia Z17 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat along with Nubia UI 5.0. It also has a feature aptly named NeoPower 3.0. This feature will suspend background processes. The Z17 is the second smartphone that comes with 8 gigabyte of RAM, and the first one that support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+, that means it will recharge the battery to 50 % in just twenty five min. It is also only the second Chinese smartphone that utilize the latest Snapdragon 835.
In term of camera, this new phone having 23 megapixel + 12 megapixel camera that supports up to 10x Dynamic zoom and 2x optical zoom, just like the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. For front facing there;s 16 megapixel along with 80-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. It is also water resistant smartphone, that comes out with an IR blaster and also supports Dolby Atmos, and will be available in wide range of color including: black, blue, red, and gold.
