Android 7.1.2 Nougat Beta Finally Hit The Nexus 6P

At the end of January, the Google released the first preview build of Android 7.1.2 Nougat beta update. It promised that it offers Nougat update for the Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C as well as the Nexus 6P.

Today, the Google is rolling out the Android Nougat update for the Nexus 6P smartphone and it is available for Nexus 6P owners. If you are using the Nexus 6P and enrolled in the beta program, so you should be checking your phone for a new update. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat Beta program is out now, bringer the larger 2015 Nexus line with the other Google devices. Currently, there is only an OTA over-the-air update for devices that are enrolled in the beta program. The update size is at about 1.29GB.

NPG05F is the build number of the new Android Nougat beta for the 6P smartphone, while Android 7.1.2 promises bug fixes and improvements that it deliver a better performance and gives a better experience than before. No factory or OTA images are available yet, but an update is now rolling out over the air so check your devices for the update.

As for the specs, the phone has 5.7 inch cinematic display protected by the corning gorilla glass 4 that prevents the phone from screen damage. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with Adreno 430 graphic processor. Under the hood, the phone packs a 3GB of RAM along with 32GB, 64GB. 128GB of built-in storage, there is no SD card slot.

Regarding the optics, the phone has 12 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front facing camera for selfie lovers. The camera features a laser autofocus. Dual-LED tone flash, face detection, HDR, and panorama. To power the phone, the smartphone has non-removable Li-Po 3450mAh battery that last up to 440 hours of stand-by time. The phone available in three colors options: Aluminum, Graphite and Frost.
